Marine Dies in Al Anbar Province

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq -- A Marine assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force was killed in action May 18 in the Al Anbar Province while conducting security and stability operations.

1. Two marines yesterday, one today
I looked it up on Lunaville yesterday, and there have been a good ten or so killed in Fallujah and/or Al Anbar province since the truce was supposed to have come into effect (beginning of May or so). It makes you wonder what is going on there.

7. He's pointing out that the citizens of the USA,
who theoretically run the place since we are theoretically
a democratic republic, do a lousy job not only at home but
elsewhere in the world.

His point, while expressed in a less than clear manner, is
