And now, for "something completely ridiculous"
We knew Moms & Dad weren't attending, but, Jenna Bush was a NO show at graduation ceremony, just heard it on Fox, of all places, No Jenna, and, yet even more mysteriously, her name wasn't called with all the other graduates....whassupwiththat?

2. Isn't she graduating from the HUGE UT....
generally there are two ceremonies - one is mass (in a stadium) - no individual names are called (far too many graduates); often there is a second by school and/or department. At the grad level that is where one often receives one's "hood".

If names were called - then it would be the smaller ceremony (if UT is like other u.s in this practice). To get the whole thing to come off smoothly - students have to indicate whether or not they are going to attend. Especially at very large universities, not everyone does. Thus the materials, names and hoopla are for those who indicated that they would attend. Her name not being called would suggest she didn't sign up for the ceremonies. Wouldn't jump to further conclusions... unless she is "taking grad classes" at UT next year... and suddenly then goes through graduation *wink, wink.*

6. Strange But True.
Too Funny. I just heard that on the TV and the first thing that came to mind was that she had not completed her courses required for her degree.
Maybe thats why mommy and daddy decided not to attend the girl's "graduations".
Good ol' dysfunctional bushhole family.

from the Palo Alto Weekly:

Pomp, circumstance and a wacky walk
Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton graduated from Stanford University Sunday with highest honors,

then read about how the silly traditions that go along with the mass stadium graduation... http://www.paloaltoonline.com/weekly/morgue/2001/2001_06_20.stanford20.html
