GATX workers get layoff notice (137 jobs - Florida)

GATX Technology Services Inc. said 137 workers in Tampa would lose their jobs by June 30.

The company filed a notice May 27 with the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation, detailing the layoffs.

Job losses had been expected since GATX Corp., the Chicago- based parent company of GATX Technology, announced in April it would sell substantially all the assets and related debt of the technology unit to CIT Group Inc.
