Some Seek Preschool Nuke Evacuation Plans (near power plants)
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (AP)

If an accident or terrorist attack at a nuclear power plant required an evacuation, plans already exist to get school children and nursing home residents out of harm's way.

But preschools and day care centers around nuclear plants aren't required to have evacuation plans, and child-care officials say many don't.

The father of a child who attends a nursery near the Three Mile Island nuclear plant has petitioned the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to require child-care facilities within 10 miles of a nuclear plant to file emergency plans. Critics say the lack of such plans could be problematic or dangerous if there is an accident or attack. ---

1. In my opinion they should be evacuated NOW
until the plants are shut down.

My family was made ill by nuclear effluents from a nearby plant.

See radiation.org for why they should be shut down NOW!!!

We are all Halliburton's irradiated lab rats.

3. please....
Please read up on Co2, fossil fuels (like coal and oil) and global warming before you blanket-condemn nuclear power.

and it is killing us.

My community is throroughly soaked with radiation and so is most of the planet.

Any apologist for this terrorism is xomplicit.

If you were born in America befire 1963 you can find out some of your exposure from the Nuke industry of death (info provided by the National Cancer Institute) HERE:

http://rex.nci.nih.gov/INTRFCE_GIFS/radiation_fallout/radiation_131.html

PLEASE go to radiation.org and do some research. Read the linked articles. Find out how much radiation you and your chilkdren have been exposed to and what it is doing to you (not to mention our soldiers abroad).

And leave me alone if you like eating this poison. It kills and mutates GENERATIONS of our gene pools and our grandchildren a thousand generations from now will STILL be affected by radiation we produce TODAY.

Please my ass...

at the NCI link.

If you are too young put in your parents' birthday and place of birth.

You will find that we have all been exposed and it explains a LOT!!!

Radiation.org for WHAT it is doing to you and why you feel fatigued and sick or you have thyroid problems or fybromyalgia or chronic sore throats rashes and/or pain. It damages our hormonal, endocrine, reproductive and metabolic systems. It mutates cells and kills them and it mutates bacteria and viruses which make it harder for us to get well.

There are alternatives that do NOT produce pollution. But they require a government that actually cares for a change.

2. Evacuate to where?
Where are they gonna go if a reactor melts down? If you're within ten miles when that goes down, good luck.

7. If your downwind 50 miles away you will still get sick.
Imagine your little ones separated from you in crisis with men and guns and FEMA incharge.

It is so sad .

And look at France today which relies on 80% nukes fopr its electricity which plants are now overheating. It is insanity.

There should be nureemburg like trials of thos who promote these toxic beasts of profit and mismanagement and greed.
