NEW YORK (Reuters) � Sprint (FON) said Wednesday that it plans to lay off 1,100 workers from its business solutions unit, amid a decline in its long-distance phone business.

But the telephone and wireless phone service provider, based in Overland Park, Kan., reaffirmed its prior financial expectations.

1. Their customer service stinks to high heavens!

These corporations who are laying people off right and left should review their policies and customer service skills!

I won't go into the LONG story of how inept they are, but believe me they are and this was a month-long ordeal in which they had time to get it right more than once!
