Pasco Beverage to cut 360 workers

Pasco Beverage Co. plans to lay off 360 workers at its Dade City plant, according to a letter sent to the Florida Agency for Workforce Development.

The company said the layoffs would begin on Aug. 13 and continue through Nov. 30.

Pasco Beverage said it is permanently shutting down the portion of its business that makes frozen concentrate juice beverages. The company sold the operations to Louis Dreyfus Citrus Inc. of Winter Garden in May.
