I think Bush's so-called bump in the polls is due, in part, to a lack of reporting of the 19 Army and Marine casualties since June 6 because the press was so busy reporting on Reagan's death on June 5.

5. This breaks my heart
Someone like Bush will never feel the emptiness this man's family will now live with for the rest of their lives. I wonder how Bush can even look at himself in the mirror on Father's Day, bearing the knowledge of the hundreds of fatherless children resulting from his actions.

He was a Reservist, there almost 18 months. He was supposed to be home if not for dumya's forced extensions.

"The unit left in February 2003 during the buildup to the war in Iraq, and its return home was planned and delayed twice before. A homecoming parade for the soldiers of the 351st was planned Thursday."
