British MPs 'fired at' in Gaza

The cross-party group, including MPs Huw Irranca- Davies and Crispin Blunt, was on a visit to Rafah in Gaza, where UK student Tom Hurndall was killed.

Liberal Democrat peer Baroness Northover said one bullet hit a wall about 10ft above her head.

"I thought 'they're trying to kill us'," she told BBC News Online.

"We withdrew to the jeeps and as we were getting in, it was followed by some pretty accurate warning shots which fired above our heads and hit a building. It was a pretty clear indication they didn't want us there.

That's a sad fact that both the right wing in Israel and the USA can NOT understand. Violence spawns more violence. It doesn't make anyone less of a MAN to use diplomacy and local consensus building. Unfortunately both Sharon and Bush only know how to swagger, sanction and/or bomb the shit out of any (evil) country that dare disagree with THEIR vision of democracy and world peace. We must take power back and essentially emasculate (love that term :P) right wing throughout the world. Then those with a true vision of a peace can forge a viable plan for the common good.

A group of British politicians were shot at by Israeli soldiers during a UN- supervised fact-finding mission, they have claimed.

The Zionist armies already spent years trying to "kick Hizbu'llah out of Lebanon" (it's their home, why the fuck should they be "kicked out"?); though there were thousands of bombs dropped on practically every city and village, thousands slaughtered and hundreds of thousands driven out of their homes on various occasions by the aggressors, it was the former that ended up retreating, not the latter. May that end result be forever repeated as long as there are attempts at it.
