China tells Bush to face facts on Iraq
Beijing - American President George Bush needs to start facing the facts on Iraq instead of "playing with reality", Chinese state media chided Friday after an official panel found no evidence linking al-Qaeda with Saddam Hussein.

"The United States would do itself and the world a huge favour by establishing a closer relationship with reality rather than wrestling with its own version of the truth, as the international credibility of American military intelligence is simply of zero value," said the China Daily.

"The truth is the United States used the threat of Iraqi WMD (weapons of mass destruction) and a connection to al-Qaeda as justification for launching the war against the regime of Saddam Hussein."

I think, 90%, the outcome will be under republican leadership in the USA; The USA and Coalition of the Fundimentalist Christian Butchers will fight against the Fundimentalist Muslim Butchers for the next 30 years and Asians will inherit Gods Earth. I think the Asian have a better than 60% chance of this even without help from the Satan republicans.

8. We're running out of acceptable foods
Before too long, we'll only be able to eat British delicacies...as soon as we figure out what those might be.

was the search for something good to eat.

10. The corporations making $$$$$$ off this don't want reality, they just
want more money. And that is why we are in Iraq, to give the American Taxpayers' money to the corporations. He should have finished going after Bin Laden, but there was not enough money for his friends in it.

5. This is so amusing.....
I'm always entertained when I read comments from China directed toward the US. Notice the tone they use? "needs to start facing", "would do well to". From other articles, "we insist that the US...", and even "we demand..."

Why the strong tones, you ask? Just uninformed little upstarts, maybe? Notice also how the Chinese are the ONLY ones who dare put us in our place. They use strong, demanding language when they address us.

Well for starters, we're a debtor nation. We owe the rest of the world a lot of $bucks$ (holds out empty pockets). We owe China $100 billion.

It's very important to read "between the lines" in international politics. And I'd say Cheney had better start scrambling.

11. Nixon opened the door for them and our greed pig corporatiions have
given them the power to be our undoing in the future. All for money, they would sell out the future of their country. China knows that we have been seriously weakened by the Iraq mess. They also know that fighting Terrorists with super superior technology does not work, and that our government is doing this all wrong.

6. Will it be long before this, China, is the worlds super power with EU?
I think so and Bush is moving us into third place fast. I think you are right that the world is moving on so the two big fundamentalist groups can tear them selfs apart being right about every thing.

13. The EU and China will be the big dogs, the USA a big bananna republic
and we can blame the corporatists for this. We can't even manufacture the necessities here anymore, so we are a dependent country. What fools have done for short term gain will be long term misery.

9. how many of our carriers did they send to the Taiwan Straits?
it heats up periodically but we've never had such an incompetent moron acting as President before. We are weak right now - China knows it, Russia knows it, and we can expect them to take advantage of the opportunity.
