1. who are these people

"He's a godly man, and he's not ashamed to show it," she said.

Godly? Give me a break. I cannot understand how people can think that the Mad Chimp is anything other than a total creep. :eyes:

4. Godly = Willing to Butcher Innocents
Just like the God of the Old Testament.

The Evangelicals in America don't even like the New Testament because it is too "flaky and liberal".

14. Except for Revelation
That's the one part of the New Testament that's top rated.

been the Pharisees, angry because someone wanted to include all people and preached love and acceptance. If He came into one of their churches, he would be shown the door. Wanted to add that I think Baby bush is the biggest hypocrite of ALL time. All he understands is death and destruction.

6. That jumped out at me, too
Godly...jeez

I'm glad the anti-Bush people outnumbered the small demonstation in support. That's a good sign.

The other thing that jumped out was the sign that said "Honk if you love Bush". My sick sick mind went the wrong way with that one!

11. They can't help it.
They've been trained to be believers first and thinkers second, but don't despair. When there is solid proof that Bush lied (evidence that they can't rationalize away that is...), the majority of them will come around and nobody can be as vindictive as a Christian that feels like they were betrayed.

And the evidence is out there:

We just have to get the media talking about it.

20. Couldn't "faith" also be defined
as persisting in the belief of the preconceived notions of others, despite all evidence to the contrary?

The depth of denial of the conservative elements is profound. Many would rather not think for themselves. They choose not to trouble themselves with thought, worry about consequences, care about people not in their exact, precise peer set.

and that apparently includes the 13 year old they quote. Hopefully she'll learn how to read critically before she begins to vote.

5. Here's a good clip

Members of the Teenage Republicans of Tucson along with parents and supporters waved signs saying, "God Bless You, President" and "Thank You, Bush" as morning commuters streamed by, some honking, waving and giving thumbs-ups and verbal whoops in support.

Danielle Royce, 18, came out to show her support and said Bush is just what the country needs right now.

"He's a godly man, and he's not ashamed to show it," she said.

OMFG!!!

Where's God when we truly need Him/Her?

And God really should bless Bush; we need all the blessings in the world so the idiot shrubbypants* can turn himself around!

18. some anti shrub sentiment got through security in Tucson
From the Tucson Star
http://www.azstarnet.com/star/Tue/30812bush2fsecuritybreach2fve.html

<snip> Three young people posing as radio correspondents were able to penetrate supposedly elaborate security and get into Davis-Monthan Air Force Base during Monday's presidential visit.

The trio could have been killed by the security staff guarding the president if they had gone through with their plans to accost President Bush and shout questions at him, a base official said.

///OK, maybe take it seriously if they accosted him in a threatneing manner, but killed? Hmmmm they just don't want the emporor-in-no-clothes to hear any voices not approved by the puppet masters. Yep, dissent is getting pretty pricey. They want everybody to know they might get shot if they dare ask questions.

7. Darn! They could have included a photo...
of that apelike Bush...

snip...
One puppet, about 10 feet high, was of an apelike Bush, with floppy hands dragging the ground that occasionally picked up a 3-foot-long "smart" missile.

8. o/t - WRT that Worm
You should check that out - from my IT today, a snip:

In addition to causing the PC to run very slowly, to cause the Copy/Paste and or Print functions to fail, we believe this worm is the root cause for delays of inbound email...

15. And will we wait in vain for the rest of the media to cover this?
Or are we going to get stuck with the drone of the "popular wartime president" mantra repeaters? :eyes:
