Bush Told of Iraq Transfer in Hand-Written Note
ISTANBUL (Reuters) - White House national security adviser Condoleezza Rice Monday informed President Bush in a handwritten note of the transfer of authority in Baghdad, prompting Bush to scribble back: "Let freedom reign."

"Mr. President, Iraq is sovereign. Letter was passed from (U.S. administrator Paul) Bremer at 10:26 a.m. Iraq time -- Condi," she wrote, according to copies of the note distributed by the White House.

43. This is the best thing we could do now
Gen Clark says transferring power is the right thing to do. I am especially pleased that lives were probably saved by doing it early.
Clark also thought it was great getting NATO involvement, though it should have been done earlier.
So I think this is making the best of a bad situation.

47. Question...
1. What lives were saved? Do you honestly think the killing is over in Iraq?
2. What exactly is NATO's involvement? What are they doing? (not just words please...actions)
3. What best of the bad situation are we making....by handing over control 2 days early. That is absurd.

I guess you're a Clark supporter, but why do we care what he thinks now, he isn't running for President.

57. Here are the answers....So what would you do?
1. Lives were probably saved because of the likely prevention of a big June 30 attack.

2. NATO is in the process of being trained for security and other duties in Iraq

3. This is covered in point 1. We have surprised the insurgents for a change. By making the best of a bad situation, I mean we are doing so by turning over the reins of power in Iraq. If you don't like this idea, what is your alternative? Stay in control and give the insurgents even more anti-American fuel? Or just cut and run like we did in Viet Nam? Now that we are in Iraq, tell us what your solution would be if you don't like this one.

since the President cannot recieve a gift valued at more than $50 from anyone who works for him (say a soldier) those pistols belong to the White House, not Chimpy, what bet he takes them with him?

I'd love to have a handwriting expert analyze his writing to see what kind of perverted things he hides in there. What's with the capital D in the middle of a word? Didn't do that in the sample piece.

9. What an insult to MLK that that comment would come outta his mouth!
MLK would definately have disapproved of Bush and if he were alive would be insulted that Bush was mocking such a profound quote.

Bush is classless. He has no sense of originality. Always trying quoting what many proud and stately people have said in the pass. And fucking it up all the while, either by misquoting them or using them out of context.

DUBYA YOU SUCK!

Way back when, there used to be a crayon color called "flesh" - it was sort of a pale tan color. That's what Dubble always uses - just another little thing he does to try to bring back "them good-ol' days".

Now, is that believable - Rumsfeld didn't know. It was all a secret. Congratulations for not telling anyone, Sir.
