Optimism of wealthy hits 6-month low (Trickle Up Economy)
NEW YORK (Reuters)


The optimism of wealthy U.S. investors fell to a six-month low in July, according to a monthly poll surveying the group.

Consulting firm Spectrem Group said Wednesday that its "affluent investor index" hit a new low of 8 in July after recording a level of 16 in June. The index's most aggressive investment orientation is 100. ...

... "The range of threats suggests the affluent may be feeling particularly ill at ease, as several of these concerns -- specifically, job security and health -- are almost completely out of their control."

When asked about "the biggest threat to achieving their household financial goals," 14 percent of respondents cited the economy, while job security, health and the presidential election were each chosen by 10 percent of respondents. ...

they are starting to realize that Kerry will win in November and their pillaging of America is soon coming to an end.

corporations will still set the agenda of our government & foreign policy.

4. Why should the "wealthy" ever be pessimistic?
They can never spend in their lifetime all the money they have or control.
