just a highlight...

President Bush pledged yesterday that American forces would be out of Liberia by Oct. 1 as the Liberian government and rebels signed a peace accord to end a bloody three-year insurgency.

"It's short-term," Mr. Bush told Armed Forces Network in an interview he gave Thursday but that was made public yesterday. "We have a special obligation in Liberia to help with humanitarian aid. And therefore we will."

The president said: "We'll be out of there by October the 1st. We've got U.N. blue-helmeted troops ready to replace our limited number of troops."

ok this is from the moony times but lets think. we need to hold bush to his promise and get our men and women out of iraq

days until liberian forces get to come home: 42
days until iraqi forces get to come home: ????

edit: does anyone know how to get a little countdown program thingee? something that might work in a sig?

1. I've heard this joke before...
...Only it was Rumsfeld talking about leaving Iraq after a year.

2. I too have heard this joke before, when I was sent to Cambodia
for a three-week jaunt through the countryside which turned into almost a year of hell.

Never believe an Amerikkkan pResident engaged in a war, they can't tell up from down or right from wrong.
