Memos: Vegas failed to act on terror tapes

When the Justice Department obtained two videos suggesting terrorists had cased Las Vegas, Nevada, casinos, the discussions didn't center on public alerts or heightened security. Rather, authorities worried about the effects on tourism and the casinos' legal liabilities, internal memos show.

4. Homeland Insecurity Department is pushing
fear in this state which is in play. If Gore had won here in NV in 2000, he'd be president. Mayor Goodman is a popular dem.

Not up for re-election this cycle yet - but you hit that squarely -
and Oscar came out swinging this morning!

They never told anybody but a couple large - repuke contributing - casinos - MGM & another one or two - NEVER, EVER told our Mayor!

Playing politics AGAIN with the "war-on-terra".
