Ivanov's crew can be little better when speaking of their own occupation. They must be comparing notes on everything.

19. Rumsfeld is illegal!
How surprising that Rumsfeld will say this nonsense right after visiting Putin, the Butcher of Chechnya!

Can we say "I won't say anything about your war crimes in Chechnya if you say nothing about ours in Iraq and Afghanistan"?

23. How comforting that our government has rediscovered ...
the value of the rule of law. I'm sure now they will recognize and admit their own crimes against the United States and Iraq:
- Launching an unjustified and aggressive war.
- Murder of thousands of innocent Iraqi people.
- Needless sacrifice and maiming of thousands of American troops.
- Establishing policies allowing torture of prisoners.
- Corruption of the highest order in award of lucrative government contracts.
- Wanton abandonment of valid treaties and obligations of the USA against the interests of the American people.

Now that you value the law Rummy, how about coming clean and admitting YOUR crimes?

24. Irony of the highest order!
Rumsfailed Admitted to violating Geneva Convention

Rumsfailed admitted in public that when CIA Tentet requested that a prisoner be sent to a secret Afghan/US Prison that Rumsfailed did so. After four months a DOD Attorney stated that this was an illegal act so Rumsfailed ordered that this prisoner be sent back to Abu Graib but the prisoner was not listed at that location on purpose. That is two violations of the Geneva Convention. Tenet and Rumsfailed violated the Geneva convention, thereby also The Constitution of the USA. Not one complaint or charge was made regarding Rumsfailed and Tenet, not even by any Dem in Congress. Rumsfaild's admission came after some in Congress called for his resignation and after Rep. Rangel issued Impeachment of Rumsfailed, which nothing has been heard of since then.

Does the US no longer follow the Geneva Convention or the Constitution of the USA?

It appears so.

25. Somehow, Rummy always sounds like the craziest of the BFEE to me
Rice, Powell, Bush - they can all lie their faces off in exactly the same way, but they never seem quite as psychotic as Rummy. I don't know why that is. But, perhaps it was during the Shock and Awe stuff when he said something like "if you knew the care and consideration that goes into the targeting of each and every bomb...". It was at that point I knew Rummy was exquisitely insane. I honestly expected him to say "if you knew the love, that goes into each and every bomb...". It was just a Dr. Strangelove moment that I can't seem to forget.
