Memphis, TN: 18-wheel dump truck plows through a Rally's restaurant,

Two people trapped under the rig. Numerous people treated for injuries. No word yet on how many dead.

Memphis, TN - EMT's were frantically working this morning to free a man trapped under a dump truck that smashed into a Rally's Hamburgers at the corner of Crump and Danny Thomas. The man was pulled free around 11:10 a.m. It appears the man may have been standing at the pick up window when he was struck by the dump truck.

Eyewitnesses say the dump truck was traveling east down Crump when the driver lost control and crashed into the front of the Rally's hamburgers building around 10:30 this morning. A car that was going through the drive-through was also hit. Mary Hart witnessed the accident. She says a man and a woman were hit by the dump truck. Hart says the woman was freed from under the truck and transported to the hospital right after the accident.

No word on how many people are injured at this point. The fire department has several trucks on the scene. Ambulances and police have also responded.
