Protestors dare Americans to fight in Fallujah
Middle East Online

A Sunni Muslim insurgent leader in the strong Sunni bastion of Fallujah Friday challenged American troops to fight to the death as angry demonstrators protested the latest US air raid on the town.

"This war will be over, only with their dead bodies or ours, and, if they want it like this, welcome to death," said Sheikh Abdullah Junabi, who heads the Mujahedeen (holy warriors) consultative council that effectively rules the town.

Junabi was cheered by a crowd of several hundred demonstrators, still furious at Wednesday night's US air raid on Fallujah that killed 20 people.

"Air strikes are cowardly. Get down and face us on the battlefield," the crowd chanted. ..

3. Yes it is. Got any evidence that
Sheikh Abdullah Junabi has done such? There's certainly plenty that we have killed women and children from the air.

6. I doubt that he has suicide bombed
It is usually fatal and the bomber is not around to discuss his heroism after the deed.

11. I have ALWAYS wanted to know
how come the suicide bombers
ALWAYS take their ID cards along with them for the bombings,
and how come the IDs are always found pretty much intact.

What the hell kind of paper do y'all use in the Middle East?

9. He's talking out his ass
He'd be on his hands and knees if one force recon guy walked up and said "Let's do it!" He's a politician and telling them what they want to hear.

13. Another famous politician
"Bring it on!", said a certain AWOL chimp.

Of course this Iraqi politician might actually have to suffer some personal consequences for his bravado.

14. If only all the gauntlet throwers in the government
had to face the consequences. What a peaceful world it would be.
