25 killed in highway robberies - Nigeria

Two attacks by armed robbers left 25 travellers dead and more than 40 injured on Nigeria's roads, said police and state radio on Tuesday.

Gunmen sprayed two intercity buses with automatic fire, killing 10 passengers and wounding several more, in the southeastern state of Enugu, said police spokesperson Kolapo Sofoluwe.

Cash and other valuables were stolen from the victims during Sunday night's attack near the Oji River, he said.

1. Man, I'm glad I don't live there anymore.

We lived there in the 70s, which was pretty bad. Now it seems even worse.
