Commuter plane crashes off Cape Cod

HYANNIS, Massachusetts (CNN) -- A commuter airplane with two people aboard crashed into Nantucket Sound after taking off from Hyannis, Massachusetts, the Federal Aviation Administration said Tuesday

The plane has been found in the water, but no one has been rescued and no bodies have been recovered, according to the FAA.

The FAA said the pilot and co-pilot were the only two people aboard; there were no passengers on what the agency described as a repositioning flight, which moves the plane or crew from one airport to another.
