Campaign Shows Bush As Funding Underdog
<http://www.newsday.com/news/politics/wire/sns-ap-bush-fund-raising,0,3173800.story?coll=sns-ap-politics-headlines>

WASHINGTON -- President Bush's campaign -- expected to dwarf Democratic hopefuls by raising $200 million or more for the primaries, with no GOP rival -- is appealing for donations by portraying Bush as a fund-raising underdog who won't have enough cash to defend himself against Democratic attacks.

Racicot's e-mail attributes quotes to several Democratic presidential hopefuls criticizing Bush.

Among them, Racicot says former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean stated that Bush might suspend the 2004 election, called Bush "reckless" and "despicable," compared him to the Taliban and said Bush was trying to destroy Social Security, Medicare, public schools and public services.

"This ugly, overheated rhetoric shows Democrats will say anything and stop at nothing to defeat this president," Racicot wrote.

Asked if the comments attributed to Dean were accurate, Dean spokeswoman Tricia Enright was incredulous.

Uhhh…Earth to Racicot…everything the dems are saying or not saying, publically, happen to be true and your contributors just happen to want it all destroyed.

3. Poor, Poor, Republicans................
"This ugly, overheated rhetoric shows Democrats will say anything and stop at nothing to defeat this president," Racicot wrote.

And when Clinton was president, the following could be said:

"This ugly, overheated rhetoric shows Republicans will say anything and stop at nothing to defeat this president".

They can dish it out, but they can't take it.

:kick:

5. Ah, good old projection
Generally speaking, when a frothing-at-the-mouth right-winger (for example, Ann Coulter) accuses the opposition of doing something nefarious, that's precisely what the RW is doing him/herself.

So be prepared for accusations on just how horrible the Democrats are.

But it's the GOP who owns Richard Nixon, Lee Atwater, and Karl Rove, for starters.

May the RNC's misdeeds be revealed for all to see. May Bush and his minions be shown for the hypocrites they are. May they all be called to account. May they be punished, and may the American people have a hand in delivering that punishment.

Like most Republicans he is a whiny, feeble coward who attacks unprovoked out of fear and malice.

7. As a former Montanan
I can vouch for how Marc tanked our economy, deregulated our electicity, built meaningless private prisons that have nobody to hold and spent most of his time destroying some of the best environmental regulations in the country. Racicot is sort of a quieter behind the scenes guy, but he is as hard-right, unconscionable and ruthless as the rest of the Bush cabal. Not only is he whiny and cowardly, but the guy is smart, too. Intelligent cowards frighten me to know end.
