One Dead After Car Explosion In New Jersey
"A car exploded on a residential street Thursday morning, leaving one person dead, authorities said...

A New Jersey State Police spokesman said investigators believe the vehicle may have been deliberately driven into the front of a house in a domestic dispute...

One person inside the car was killed, said state police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Rehmann. The explosion occurred about 7 a.m. Television pictures showed a burned-out vehicle and damage to the facade of a building. It was not immediately clear if anyone inside was injured.

"It's my understanding -- initially, preliminarily -- that it's a domestic dispute of some type," Rehmann said. "There's evidence that there may have been explosives involved."

8. It Seemed OK
But nowadays, ya never know....

Being 1,800 miles away from my kids, I'm naturally nervous when I see headlines like that from the Garden State.

12. Happens every day. Even towns where a fake Israeli moving company operates
Edited on Thu Oct-07-04 09:02 PM by lostnfound
Curiosity and an inkling that I'd heard that name 'Weehawken' before..searched internet for "Weehawken" & "terror".. up popped this. Probably pure coincidence..it's a big town...13,501 people at the last census...2 square miles..

http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/fiveisraelis.html

From there, the story gets becomes even more suspicious. The Israelis worked for a Weehawken moving company known as Urban Moving Systems. An American employee of Urban Moving Systems told the The Record of New Jersey that a majority of his co-workers were Israelis and they were all joking about the attacks.

A few days after the attacks, Urban Moving System's Israeli owner, Dominick Suter, dropped his business and fled the country for Israel. He was in such a hurry to flee America that some of Urban Moving System's customers were left with their furniture stranded in storage facilities.

It was later confirmed that the five detained Israelis were in fact Mossad agents. They were held in custody for 71 days before being quietly released. Some of the movers had been kept in solitary confinement for 40 days.

**********
PS Apologies to those offended if this seems anti-Israeli; I didn't seek it out. Just wondering what we know about Weehawken.

PPS Of course this did also make me think of the recent car bombing in Damascus Syria which was unofficially claimed by Israeli government officials according to DemocracyNow! last week.

13. Pure coincidence. Sounds like a gas leak.

There were no art students, there is no Weehawken.

14. Yep. Plus it is a whole half-mile (880 yards) from Urban Moving Systems
the company which employed certain Israelis arrested after 9-11.
0.5 miles from 76 Hackensack Ave, Weehawken where the car bomb happened and 3 W 18th St, Weehawken where Urban Moving Systems is located.
