I don't know if you've been following Moore's visits throughout the US but more than one controversy has preceeded them. Yesterday in Utah, Hannity spoke to keep right wingers happy before a visit next week from Moore. He will be in Reno on Wednesday evening and the Bushes and Mrs. Kerry are arriving about the same time. It's been amazing how donors have tried to shut him out of visiting because they don't like him and like Mr. Bush. Nevada is a battle ground state but it feels like we have no rights to free speech anymore.

Michael Moore speaks Wednesday at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Lawlor Events Center, but protests surrounding the controversial filmmaker’s visit start today. “Moms Against Michael Moore” plans a 12:30 p.m. demonstration outside Lawlor, with the group’s organizer hoping for a turnout of 1,000.
“The president of the university said we should welcome him as a guest,” Dona Lakis, a Reno resident and the protest’s leader, said Monday. “Most of this community doesn’t even want him here.”
Almost 9,000 tickets have been sold for the lecture by Moore, whose “Fahrenheit 9/11” movie is a scathing attack on President Bush. Moore is coming to UNR as part of his 60-city “Slacker Uprising Tour” of college campuses across the country.
UNR President John Lilley has told critics of Moore’s appearance to treat the director as a “guest” who “must be allowed to speak.”

OREM — Standing center stage, Sean Hannity, clad in a crisply tailored suit, captivated a sold-out crowd with a fiery speech lauding Utah's conservative folks — and denouncing those of a liberal ilk, such as "Fahrenheit 9/11" director Michael Moore.
Sean Hannity rallies support for President Bush at UVSC Monday to offset the coming appearance of Bush critic Michael Moore.
Hannity, the talk-show host who waived a $100,000 speaking fee in order to counter views Moore is expected to dispense at an Oct. 20 speech, said during his visit Monday that Utah students aren't "slackers" — a reference to Moore's "Slacker Uprising Tour," the filmmaker's effort to visit many college campuses before the November elections.
And he doesn't think they need Moore to tell them who to vote for.
"It's not Michael Moore that I'm worried about," Hannity
told the Deseret Morning News before going on stage. "I'm worried about John Kerry getting elected president."
