War Criminals Hire War Criminals To Hunt Down War Criminals
by Chris Floyd

An apt headline by golly. It's like been done before too.

1. Those who ignore History are doomed to repeat its errors.
The U.S. rescued instead of prosecuted former NAZIS (i.e. Bush family partners) after WWII. See http://www.LiberalsLikeChrist.Org/BushFamily

at http://www.LiberalsLikeChrist.Org .

See what Christ might say about the "Christian Coalition" & "Religious Right" imposters.

4. Makes me shake my head...
Before the war I kept saying over and over again... there will be no democracy placed in Iraq, and I don't believe it was ever intended by the Bush cabal. Democratic governments have the tendency to do things with their countries resources that are contrary to American business interests.

Then we have to consider that some countries just do not have the conditions necessary for constructing a democratic government. Iraq is one of those nations. The borders of modern Iraq were not put together with ethnic and religious divisions as a consideration. The result is that everyone inside the nation's borders hates each other. Under such conditions only a brutal dictatorship can keep the country from disintegrating. Which is most likely why Saddam was not removed from power in 1991 during the first Gulf War.

A new and possibly more brutal regime will be built upon the foundations of the old one, or a whacked out fundamentalist regime will take over, or both (see history of Iran)

What a f***ing mess this has turned out to be. I saw it coming. We all saw it coming, but no... we were blaming America first, we were unpatriotic, we were pro-Saddam, we were not supporting the troops, we were weak on terror. Well, as it turns out we are just not stupid.
