Former CIA Chief to Teach at Georgetown

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former CIA Director George Tenet has accepted a teaching position at his alma mater, Georgetown University.

Tenet will be in the classroom starting next fall but will take up his position immediately, the university said in a statement.

Tenet graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service in 1976. He will be a professor in diplomacy and a senior research associate at the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy.

Tenet, who left the agency after seven years in July, is working on a book and accepting speaking engagements.

In February, Tenet chose Georgetown as the forum for a fierce defense of the intelligence agencies' analyses on Iraq before President Bush ordered the invasion in March 2003. ``They never said there was an imminent threat,'' Tenet said in his speech.

7. You crack me up too. He could get Sam Dash, Ken Starr's ethics
adviser to do a guest lecture on "Whoring as a way of life in the new millennium."

6. Had...
He had to jump on the payout (for peacefully vanishing just before the other 9/11 investigation, conducted by CIA, was complete).

What with Rove testifying under oath, then plopping down in front of AF1, he got a little nervous that the early payout was the safer bet...

9. Just stay away from national security, George
Tenet could've been a good guy, but had to pimp himself for an administration that didn't care..."The hottest places in hella re reserved for those who in times of crisis reserved their neutrality." Have heard that Dante quote in respect to Colin Powell too
