Note the Number One issue cited in this NJ poll--the economy...after hearing the pundits say for months that NJ cares the most about security and terrorism. The biggest secret problem with the polls (party weighting aside) IMHO will surprise many--It will be the way the economy eclipses voters' decisions on VOTING DAY ...we'll see....I just can't see everybody being that hyperdriven over terrorism when the country is basically falling apart in so many ways in their own backyards... Wait til those first heating bills start arriving in the mail...
Poll: Kerry Maintaining Lead In New Jersey

Half the voters surveyed last week said they plan to vote for the Democratic challenger, while 43 percent said they would vote for the president. The poll was conducted on behalf of The Record of Bergen County...
