In Fla., voters not taking chances
By Laura Parker, USA TODAY
MIAMI — Two hours before the polls opened Sunday, the line of voters at the Lemon City library in the neighborhood known as Little Haiti stretched around the corner and down the block. Most people waited two hours to vote.
snip...

Early voting plays to the long-held view that the larger the turnout, the better the chances for Democratic candidates. A Miami Herald poll Sunday shows that among the 16% of voters who cast ballots early, Kerry drew 56%, compared with Bush, who received 39%.

WHOO HOO!!! FLORIDA!!! OMG!!! :bounce:

3. I have a client in Broward
Spoke with him this morning. Local news is reporting that by tonight, it is expected that more voters will have ALREADY voted than those who voted in 2000.

Also, he was at a school play this weekend. Sitting in a room there were 6 moms, all of whom were K/E supporters.

Both of these points are good news. Now if we can simply get Florida to allow the damn votes to count...

It's practically guaranteed this time around. We're not letting these fascists steal it again.

I'd rather die.

4. Some More Good News!!! from Ohio and Wisconsin from
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 11:49 AM by lovuian
believe it or not the Free Republic

SHOULD WE BE PREPARING FOR THE WORST?
Talking to a GOPer pollster type this morning, he warns me, "i want to prepare you for a likely Bush loss." He's worried Ohio and Wisconsin are worse than we know because of the economy.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/browse

Everything I'm reading over there is OHIO's polls are for Kerry Big Time!!!

I'm so praying these guys are right on and I think they are!!!

Also from Freeperville
BAD NEWS AND GOOD NEWS <11/01 10:56 AM> The bad news, passed on by Middle Cheese: Bush’s poll numbers in Ohio on Sunday night were terrible. Might be a bad sample, or it might be that the last minute break of the undecided is going for Kerry.

6. FAUX just aired the results of their latest national poll: Kerry +2%
Bush 46%
Kerry 48%

Minus their obvious bias, I figure that works out in reality to around about Kerry 53-55%

WOOT!!!!

16. Not only that, but I was watching Bill Schneider on CNN this morning.
MAN did he look sober. Usually, when the news is to his liking, his eyes are twinkling, and he's grinning impishly. Not today. NOWHERE was that facial expression in evidence. He was sober as a judge. Personable alright, but VERY sober. Not a grin to be seen.

28. Good find, even if it's from the wannabe brownshirts.
If even Freepers are convinced by the media that the election is trending Kerry, they may not be so easy to fool into using violence against the left when Kerry wins.

Of course, I could be dreaming.

19. California News from National Post California going Kerry!!!
http://www.canada.com/national/nationalpost/news/story.html?id=38493f63-f315-4296-a271-6b057b42f16d

There seems little doubt Californians will deliver the state's valuable 55 electoral votes to the Democratic candidate. In a poll on Friday, Mr. Kerry had a seven-point lead statewide, with a 24-point lead in Los Angeles county and a 35-point lead in the San Francisco Bay area.
snip...

''As a woman, the current climate is becoming intolerable. Bush has just appointed a man to the FDA reproductive health panel who believes that women with medical trouble should pray to Jesus for relief. If this is what America is becoming, I cannot live here. The only reason I can sleep at night is the thought that I can leave the country if he wins.''

22. Update Lame Duck LePore looking at each Absentee Vote
if the signatures are identical to their registration card

Got a question???
How do they tell that when they are not signature analysts!!!

Isn't this tampering with Abentee Votes and our voters notified they have been disqualified cause they should be so they can come in and prove who they are!!!

This is incredible!!!

29. You can't tell by looking.
My bank calls on big checks all the time cause I can't seem to sign the same each time. I tell them one signature is boring.....drives them crazy.

If I remember correctly one of the things they look at in the FBI lab is how hard the writing instrument presses into the paper. Seems we can disguise the shape of our writing but we automatically push the pen with the same down-force.
