4. I agree, minority and youth vote plus low income (ACORN)
will get us there. I have been doing GOTV with this demo since August and I think they are coming through.

If you see them tomorrow just walking down the street, talk, ask, prod, cajole, convince:

All you can see is a sea of people, some white and some black
Don't matter what color, all that matters is we gathered together
To celebrate for the same cause, no matter the weather
If it rains let it rain, yea the wetter the better
They ain't gonna stop us, they can't, we're stronger now more then ever,
They tell us no we say yea, they tell us stop we say go,
Rebel with a rebel yell, raise hell we gonna let em know
Stomp, push up, mush, fuck Bush

18. I did some stuff with VoteMob but Curtis knew I would do my own
thing everyday without supervison.

Plus I could be totally partisan on my own.

You should try my GWB is a PAB flyers tomorrow.

Go to http://somnamblst.tripod.com to download high resolution TIF or PDF files to print and distribute in the inner city (not the suburbs). Hand them out and or attach them to utility poles, bus stops, phone booths, etc. Guerilla marketers needed to create MAXIMUM BUZZ!

I am a poll worker floater for Hardin County and had to be back home tonight so I can be on call tommorrow. went down to see a freind and to go into the belly of the beast to fight W on the day he was visiting :D cincy. I had lot's of fun, did lit drops at UC and got kicked out of a dorm, I told them ok, I will leave, can I have my student ID back, and the RA's wanted to have me arrested and told me I was handing out the wrong polling place maps and I was spreading lies. LOL, best day ever, it was great.

on edit.

I should thank the RA that was kind enough to sneak us in, she took one for the team when we got busted. (She got chewed, let's put it that way)

Thanks Danielle. (her name)

5. Looking over your map this is what crossed my mind:
Oh, that big bad Texas state should be taken to the woodshed and flogged for misleading all those little red states.

6. Okay, am I totally out of my mind?
This thread says Zogby makes it a toss-up and it's all down to Florida -- again.

But another thread on a WSJ/Zogby poll says the battleground states are going to Kerry, including Florida, but leaving New Mexico as a toss-up.

Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 10:21 PM by rocknation
It comes down to 27 electoral votes, all of which Florida just happens to have, and which is governed by the brother of one of the candidates? Equestrian doodie--we won't get fooled again!

15. Who "HE"?? Zogby? or boosh? I know boosh is crazy.
Seriously --

I'm assuming the raw data comes from Zogby's surveys and then he just manipulates it depending on who the customer is, either Reuters or WSJ or whatever. And I'm not enough of an expert on polling to know whether or not the Zogby state polls are then compiled to form the national poll or if they rely on totally independent surveys.

But you'd think, based on what Zogby himself said on the Daily Show last week, that he'd be concerned about the "accuracy" of his polls. I understand the concept of CYA and hedging one's bets, but how can one vouch for one's "accuracy" if one calls it for boosh one minute and for Kerry the next, BASED ON THE SAME DATA? And true, I suppose the various customers can put their own spin on it and thus let Zogby off the hook, but then why would he want his name associated with someone who could essentially screw his reputation all to hell?

I know, I know, I know, this is too much thinking for this most stressful of all nights, but I can't help it.

And worst of all, I have too much work to do to go to bed any time soon. . . . .

19. We HAVE Ohio.
We've thoroughly outclassed the pubs in terms of our ground game there, and they're not ready for whate we're going to bring to the booths tomorrow. This is a near-election polling jitter.

If anything, I was more worried about PA. But this poll is encouraging on that front.

22. Based on early voting results, Nevada is Kerry Country 56-34.
Nevada will go to Kerry this time around.

Porter will lose to Ghallager - Kerry coat-tails.

Ohio is tending Kerry.

I expect to see a lot LESS red!
