Drudge Debunked: Early votes in phily machines came from LIFETIME counter
The GOP had complained about votes being on the machines prior to the polls being open. Well the DA just said that the counter was for the lifetime votes on the machine, thus tallying votes from when the machine was made. I heard this reported on Foxnews "breaking news", trying to find a link now.
Please don't go to his site. Don't boost his hit count. Don't do anything that would support him in even the most tangential way. Perhaps he will dry up and blow away on a fresh wind.
8. well, sorry, i don't buy that explanation for a minute...
without some verification from vendor, vendors manual, etc. I have run elections using optical scan equipment (dont know what the ones referenced here are) and i have never seen a LIFETIME counter. Of what possible use are they? Why would a vendor place a useless piece of equipment that adds to the cost of the machine? Would they charge a lower price if that piece wasn't there?
