Gunmen Kill Senior Iraqi Oil Official in Baghdad

Gunmen killed a senior Iraqi Oil Ministry official in Baghdad on Wednesday, officials said.
Hussein Ali, a director general at the Oil Ministry, was shot dead as he left his home in southern Baghdad's Qadissiya district to go to work, said Interior Ministry spokesman Colonel Adnan Abdul-Rahman.
