Al Jazeera in possession of NEW Bin Laden Tape confirmed....
Al-Jazeera in possession of new Osama Bin Laden 'Message'
Source: TT Exclusive | 3:45:39 PM EST

We have confirmed with both overseas sources and sources inside the United States that Al-Jazeera is indeed in possession of some form of new Osama Bin Laden Message. This message is more than likely a new video, threatening America for re-electing President Bush.

We have been informed by sources asking to remain anonymous that Al-Jazeera has agreed to embargo the new Osama Message for another 24 hours. More than likely this is due to the pressure of the US Government to not air this new tape.

TrackingTerrorism will have more details on what is said in these new Osama video(s), as more information is being delivered to us via courier later this evening.

Developing...

139. Here you go ... I have cried a river and prayed quietly ...
For guidance on how to reclaim my beautiful Catholic faith as well as our Democracy for the working poor, sick and other disenfranchised people.

I'm so sad that he was able to use our Pro Life faith that was meant to be personally practiced not dictated to others - to get the vast majority of my fellow parishioners to vote for *.

In her Catholic school elementary class, my daughter has only two little classmates whose parents did NOT vote for *. (Kerry and, believe it or not - Nader) The little boy who became instant friends with her whose folks must have "wrote in" Nader here in Virginia warmed my heart and made me smile.

Please don't assume all Catholics are blind to what I consider this "false prophet." Remember our Catholic Worker and Pax Christi organizations.

Respectfully - May we regroup and come back strong ... TRUE Christians, agnostics, all other beautiful faiths - including Muslims, to show the arrogant what people of faith and spirituality can do when united.

25. Yep, they'll rally round Chimp as their savior, while OBL is an agent of
Satan. Just as 9/11 was allowed by Gawd as a warning to us to "straighten up" (pun on gay rights intended), the next attack will be again allowed by Gawd as another warning for whatever they are pushing at the time, probably completely getting rid of separation of church and state.

9/11 happened on Bush's watch, and he is culpable for it. He will be responsible for the next attack also.

Wake up America! We are less safe. Bush wants to send your sons and daughts to be cannon fodder in Iraq (maybe Iran or Syria next). And you know what -- you probably deserve it for voting for fear instead of hope.

113. CNN / MSNBC / FOX will immediately spin this to Bush's favor.
This time it will be the Syrians or Iranians who will be the designated "evilduers".

This will be the opening to continue the PNAC plan to take over the ME. If it happens, the media will have the script in place and they will be praising Bush for his decisive action in taking out Damascus and/or Tehran. They'll even be asking Bush to declare martial law to protect us from terrorism.

But then, neither could Kerry. Any promises to do so from either side are just so much empty politicing. Yes, intelligence and law enforcement agencies can make it much more difficult but in the end no one can guarantee safety - Not if the society is to remain at all free.

158. You need to do some reading...
Sure, Kerry couldn't protect us any more than Bush, however, Kerry offered a viable alternative to Bush's "My way or the highway" foreign policy, that would have made another terrorist attack less likely...

Kerry wanted to enlist the aid of allies; Bush said "Fuck off" to our allies...
Kerry wanted to establish a plan to win the peach; Bush got caught with his pants down and has no clue as to what to do...
Kerry wanted to see to it that the US used it forces in the best possible ways; Bush has shown nothing but contempt for US troops...
etc, etc, etc...

Oh, and in case you missed it, some corporate media channel showed an interview with two mid-East reporters in the wee hours of Wednesday while "everyone" was waiting for Kerry to concede. One reporter worked the London desk of al-Jezeera. He said something rather somber: It was his opinion from his work in and around Iraq that al Qaeda was waiting to see how this election turned out. The group considered Bush's ascent to the White House to be tenuous at best considering he had stolen the election in 2000. In this respect, he did not represent the will of the American people. That's all changed now with Election2004. Bush's "win" indicates he is supported by the American people, therefore, Americans are now targets for al Qaeda strikes. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

And Americans voted for Bush because he would make them safe...:eyes:

160. You're assuming rational people are involved in this equation.
If - or maybe WHEN we're attacked again, it'll be the same old post-9/11 crap about how we have to unite behind Our President. I doubt there will be ANY room for "...but he promised to keep us safe..." stuff that you'd ordinarily expect to result from another attack. They'll just mindlessly run to him for more "protection."

There is a HUGE disconnect out there. Denial like gangbusters. We expected people to do the reasonable, intelligent thing on Election Day, too. They didn't. They went for the knee-jerk jerk.

And when the next attack comes, it'll hit a blue state, too, most likely. That's where the power and money centers are - that Osama seems to like to target.

167. If another attack comes,
and I certainly pray it doesn't, my mantra will be - "Bush said he would protect us, that we were safer with him. Why didn't he protect us like he said he would?" I don't care if it is rational to say such a thing. I've learned one thing from neocons - if you say it and repeat it often enough, it will become entrenched in the American consciousness.

Osama was sitting in his undisclosed secure location (maybe right under our nose -- a Holiday Inn in someplace like Topeka?) watching the election returns right there on his teevee and plotting mayhem. Bush can't find the fucker, didn't stop him, can't stop him cuz he's too damn busy dicking around in Iraq, and we'll get to pay the price.

51. Yes, it DOES piss me off
All of those God fearing assholes whose lives were not touched at all by 9-11, who watched the towers fall like it was a sad movie on the Lifetime network, who cried fewer tears for their fellow citizens, innocents all, than they did when Princess Di got killed, and then "got over it" because it did not affect them all that much....these same folks get a MASSIVELY DISPROPORTIONATE SHARE OF THE TERRA FUNDING, while the rest of us living in east and west coast cities are the ones who are on the front lines....yeah, it pisses me off.

Of course, if you listened to that video of our crazyass terrist enemy in his fine white thobe and golden robe, the vapid GOP fools of the heartland may well in time discover a real reason to be VERY AFRAID. When Osama the Thug said he would punish the STATE that voted for weecowboy, he was not talking about nation states. He was talking about RED states.

It makes you wonder about that NG pipeline in TX that blew up today. If he takes the fight to us, what does that say about weecowboy's latest excuse (fight them there, not here) for the unwarranted invasion of Iraq?

So, you are not a dick at all. NYC and Boston cops and firefighters are stretched to the friken limit, but in Podunk, Heartland they have all the latest and greatest crap to defend against an enemy who has not yet shown up. It'll be interesting to see how they react if their asses are ever on the damn line. Let's hope they've taken the time to actually TRAIN on their fancy equipment...assuming they've actually BOUGHT it, and not diverted the cash to some other halfassed project.

When Perle spouted the line about fighting terrorists over there so as to not have to fight them at home, he said "we don't really get to make that choice" the clear implication being that the terrorists will make that decision, not Bush.

58. I haven't seen anything on newsnow.co.uk about a new
tape but the are a few articles about releasing the remainder of the Friday tape. (I think the Daily Star is from Bangladesh.)

Osama bin Laden said on Wednesday in a full Internet broadcast of a video, partly aired by Al Jazeera last week, that George W. Bush had dragged America into a quagmire in Iraq and warned of retaliation for Iraqi deaths.
In the video, posted on Web sites often used by Islamists as results from the US presidential election were being announced, bin Laden said Bush had ignored advice against waging "an unjustified war on Iraq for which there would be no end".

"The black gold (oil) blinded him and he put his personal interests above the general interests of America so the war took place, many died, American money was squandered and Bush was dragged into a quagmire in Iraq which threatens his future," the al Qaeda leader said in the tape, dated October 24.

"More than 15,000 of our people were killed and tens of thousands wounded and more than 1,000 of your people (Americans) were killed and tens of thousands wounded. Bush's hands are sullied with the blood of those on both sides just for oil and to employ his private companies," bin Laden said.

for giving him 4 more years of attacking the wrong country, and providing him with the best possible climate for recruiting new Islamic martyr's.

(the first part has more than a little truth. Osama considers the followers of Saddam's branch of Islam to be heretics. Add to that that Iraq was a mostly secular dictatorship, with the Mullah's not getting the last word, and I don't think he was all that upset with our attacking mexico instead of Japan.)

176. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE
The only way terrorists will hit the south is if they can pull together another Bush-sized stadium rally and try to hit 25,000 or more people at one time and you know that ain't gonna happen - so rest easy. Even California does not stand the chance of being hit so much as New York does. California's people live more spread out than New Yorkers do. New York presents a target of people in such magnitude of numbers, all over the entire island of Manhattan, that ANYWHERE they choose to hit, they will score thousands of victims. In just one large sized New York apartment building live more people than occupy some entire southern towns.

83. There were two tapes
One to congratulate American if they elected Kerry.

The other more ominous if the choice was Bush.

This has sort of verifed a feeling that I have thatBin Laden also has a personal grudge against the Bush family and America will pay for it.
I always suspected that thebattakcs of 9/11 woyld not have occred if Gore won in 2000.

I think I would expect Al Qaeda to act sometime in the next 9 months because if yuu look at the two attacks on the , both came shortly after a presidential election, within the first year. In 1993, nad in 2001.

is to sit back and do nothing and watch * fuck up this country to its destruction with his asinine policies.

Our domestic terrorists in power is the paramount issue for me these days. I'm gay so they're eventually going to make it legal for gays to be killed, just as the Bible says it's okay to do. :eyes: Therefore, I'd rather be killed by a foreign terrorist and die for a form of persecution worth having.

In light of what we now know about AbuGhraid, I foudn this quite interesting to review... http://www.indybay.org/news/2003/08/1635862.php
The news clip includes the video Mazen Dana was shooting before being killed.

According the news report, the US military claimed Iraqi insurgents fired rocket propelled grenades into a prison holding Iraqi prisoners of war, killing 6 Iraqis and wounding 60.

Locals claim no such mortars were fired but that US troops killed the Iraqi prisoners who were protesting for better conditions...

122. There has also been reported Chatter and emails from insurgents
That strongly have sugested that Al QWaeda has threatened to attack every statre that supported Bush.

There were several times during Bush's acceptance sppech when he looked almost pale, and on instance in which photographers were taking picttures of him and caught him with an extremely worried, pale, almost frightened look on his face. I belive that hje was informaed of some of this chatter just before going out to make the acceptance speech and know full well that any attacks that occur during his second term will be totally his responsibility. Al Qaeda has a running success rate of 95 percent in accomplishing any attacks that they have planned, and anything they have warned people about before has actually had a higher sucess rate.

There are also reports that Al Jazeera had two tapes, one to congratulate the U.S. for electintg kerry, with hints that attacks on U.S. soil would not occur again because of this.

And another one if Bush was elected warning that they would attack every state that Bush won.

Kerry never even mentioned getting to the root causes of Islamic terrorism in the US; to begin with, contemplating withdrawing troops from Saudi Arabia. He said over and over that he would hunt down and destroy Bin Laden.

We're gonna have to pay for the oil with our lives instead of our dollars.

PNAC plan was to take over Iraq and the Middle East, and it's oil fields, with strategic bases so we can cut the Saudis loose, or something like that. Am I reading into the whole thing wrong.

I'd like to see the tape.

126. Targets
I have thought about this scenario for awhile. I never thought The Fascist would be reelected. How could he? He is so inept! But, alas, I forgot the bigots of this country are easy to pander to and many are not bigots, but are as intellectual uncurious as their beloved leader. So what now?

I don't think the next attack will be "spectacular" in that it will be a big target. OBL has made it clear he wants us to suffer economically and to really terrorize us. How could he achieve this? Hit big businesses, like Wal-Mart. Basically, he could activate people like the suicide bombers in Israel and other nations. This would mean, there may not be a high body count or massive damage, but honestly, don't you think 5 suicide bombers blowing themselves up in crowded Wal-Marts in suburban or rural areas would evoke more terror than taking down, say, the Sears Tower? If he hit "small," it would show he can get to us ANYWHERE, and I think THAT is what would cause massive panic in this country.

Just my thoughts.

153. NPR is creating confusion over this--
The original videotape given to Al Jazeera is now on the internet for download, and that is the "new" tape NPR is talking about.

But there are also the two NEWER tapes made for release after the US election, depending upon who wins.

I spent time looking at http://www.trackingterrorism.com after some DUers expressed doubts. The site is very lengthy and has been posting otherwise obscure news in the ME for a long time, so I don't think this is a hoax. The main page also has links to a series of updates from yesterday regarding what is happening with these new tapes. The latest update is here:

Al-Jazeera's New Osama Bin Laden Video - UPDATE 2
Source: TT Exclusive | 7:30:38 AM EST

We will attempt to update our readers on the status of the new Bin Laden tape. As we have said earlier, we have confirmed the actual existence of this new Osama Bin Laden video. Al-Jazeera is currently still on an embargo for a few more hours and cannot air any portion of this video tape. They have been put on embargo by the US Government wishing to investigate the video tape before its release.

Al-Jazeera Television's embargo is similar to what we saw last week with the original Osama Bin Laden video. After US Government review, Al-Jazeera chose only to air 5 minutes of the entire 18 minute video. Al-Jazeera will be presented again with the option of airing any portion of this new video tape. In the past, Al-Jazeera Television has never sat on any message from Osama Bin Laden for more than 24 hours.

Currently, the airing of this video tape is in the hands of Al-Jazeera. While it is very likely that they may air the tape immediately following the embargo, it is also likely that they'll sit on it for another day or two. We have again attempted to speak with Al-Jazeera regarding the video tape, but however they appear to be on a gag order and cannot release any additional information about the tape's existence.

We can assure you that it does exist and soon we will all being seeing it on national TV. The tape is said to be currently leaked online on a few remote and highly secret Al-Qaeda Websites. Militants are already praising its release, making comments such as "Soon the American People will see the edited version". We hope that by making the tape's existence known publicly prior to the national media, that we do indeed see the entire tape as it could be crucial to the future of the United States. We do not believe in suppression by the US Government in something as significant as an OBL tape. As we get more information that we can share, we will immediately inform our readers.

Developing...

-------------------------------------------------------------
So I don't know how much of the tape we will actually get to see when it is first released in the western media. Keep checking with http://english.aljazeera.net/HomePage because they will post the full transcript sooner or later.

along since 9/11 that the next attack will be in the so-called "heartland". Now with Ohio being the so-called deciding state of the idiot's election I honestly feel Ohio is the next target. There was an arrest in Columbus a year or so ago where they were targeting a mall. I bet there are other co-conspirators that were not arrested. I routinely go to OSU football games but I think that will be put on hold for a while. I hope I'm being nothing but paranoid here but honestly - I'm scared.
