(Iraqi) Professors flee the country (1600 university teachers leave)

(Al-Nahdhah) - The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research claims that, in addition to dissatisfaction with salaries, more than 1600 university teachers have left Iraq due to threats, kidnappings, and murders. A ministry source said 14 university teachers were killed last year, while the fate of 75 teachers is still unknown. The source added that assassinations and kidnappings led to the closure of some fields of study in the last year - a problem the ministry also faces this year.

The California UC/State system's science/ engineering depts must have 80-90% middle eastern faculty who can barely speak english, don't know the culture and can't communicate worth shit. Fuck these guys.

7. wtf are you talking about....

I'm a professor in the sciences at a Cal State University. We have one Indian colleague in my dept, one gentleman of Lebanese descent (I believe, and second generation anyway) in the Natural Resources Dept. Out of-- I don't know, 70 or so faculty in my college-- I don't think more than about half a dozen do not speak english as their native language, and several of those are oriental-- I don't know of ANYONE who fits the description you posted.

They do not want local intelligentsia around as they would legally and objectively ask for explanations of the rape of their country.

This happened in almost every Totalist Power Structure, British Imperialism, French Imperialism, Chinese Maosism, etc.

Even the Taliban operated on these principles - and that is what US Imperialism in Iraq wants to occur.

No messy intelligentsia to question their actions.
