Bush lays out second-term plan
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/11/06/bush.radio.ap/index.html

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush is striking twin themes for a second term, vowing to fight hard for his political agenda while reaching across the aisle to Democrats.

"Americans are expecting bipartisan effort and results," Bush said Saturday in his weekly radio address. "My administration will work with both parties in Congress to achieve those results, and to meet the responsibility we share."

Offering some words of conciliation, he said Republicans and Democrats can agree to aggressively pursue the war on terror, with every citizen having a stake in the outcome.

Why does that sound like a draft???

3. This sounds better than McClellan's 'long arms' statement
Junior realizes that nearly half the country thinks he's a worthless POS no matter the outcome.

5. After I read part of the transcript of Maher last night I would agree.
Yesterday O Reilly was reading Jonathan Chait's LA Times editorial about how Republicans voted for Bush because of the gay marriage
amendment. Rove was on something I was flipping through and he was
saying that the right expected the amendment and they were going to get it. I assume by association he means Rove v Wade too. Ashcroft here we come.

7. "Bipartisan Effort and Results"
I think that this is simply another "Clear Skies Act."
