Sen. John Kerry has conceded Ohio and the presidential election, but Democrats and lawyers for the Kerry campaign say they are still active — not to change the outcome but to ensure that every vote is counted.
Lawyers who volunteered for the campaign in each Ohio county are monitoring activity at county elections boards and checking into any reported problems, said Daniel Hoffheimer, Ohio counsel for the Kerry-Edwards campaign.

But enough questions have been raised about the provisional ballots, Election Day glitches and other concerns that it’s important to follow the process to the end, Hoffheimer said.
