Court Steers Clear of Cockfighting Case
WASHINGTON - No cockfighting in Oklahoma, the Supreme Court says.

The justices turned down an appeal Monday from cockfighting supporters, who have lost at the ballot box and in courts.

13. Has anyone seen the commercial???
It's for KFC, I think, where they have guys dressed up in chicken suits cockfighting--it's extra crispy vs. spicy, or something like that. I find it in horribly poor taste, and I'm rather surprised that PETA hasn't gotten on it. I suppose some idiot thought it might appeal to the "cockfighting" demographic....

and I actually thought it was pretty funny.

It makes me think of "Little Jerry" in the Seinfeld episode about the cockfight.

PS, I'm not for cockfighting, but it seems a more honorable way to die than being grown, killed, dismembered and consumed via the Tyson megamongo "food" processing empire.

Any New Mexicans know about the legal status over there? All efforts to ban it in La. have failed miserably, maybe when La. is the only state left it will finally outlaw this sick shit.
