1. Sixty or so in the last week.
That probably means around 600 wounded. Not walking wounded, taken out of action. Ask yourself how long that can last without a draft.

13. Actual Numbers
All of the numbers are majorly under reported. There was a report on CNN.com yesterday that was accurate that listed 70 wounded per day at this facility. I know this, because the person that gave this information to the media is now in serious trouble for providing accurate numbers to the media. I also know that 10 soldier died in a German hospital this weekend as a result of the fighting in Falluja.

I assume that they may not be reporting these deaths as war casualties.

I also know for a fact that there have been close to 1000 casualties treated at this hospital since this latest battle began. Many are not very serious, but that is still a high number of soldiers off of the battlefield.

I have always believed the numbers were under reported...

3. November 14 has no deaths listed
It seems hard to believe that was a quiet day.

5. They seem to be delaying release
of casualty information. My guess is that there were fatalities on the 14th and they just haven't released the information yet.

They're still releasing the names of people that died on the 13th, they probably haven't started on the 14th yet.:(

6. According to my calculations that's 65 killed
Last check I made of icasualties before the assault on Falluja was 1128 and now its 1193.

And that's not news.

10. Highest death rate since first several days of war
72 dead in 15 days and as said there are probably some deaths unreported at this point. I can't believe how quickly these deaths are piling up. This is what they call success.
