Avoidance Strategies

March 12th, 2005 (apj.us) - One might imagine that the most pressing topic of discussion this morning on the Sunday political talk shows would be Social Security — and the absolute, utter, miserable failure of a certain former Texas Governor to sell his particular brand of "reform" (translation: piratization, reduction of benefits, and eventual phase-out).

Both the news and op-ed pages of the nation's major newspapers chronicled the collapse of the Chimp's aptly-named "Bamboozlepallooza" tour over the course of the last week. Needless to say, much unintentional mirth and merriment ensued. Dim hypocrisy is on the march, that much is for sure!
