Blithering Idiot alert in the Akron Beacon Journal LTTEs -
In today's Beacon Journal "Voice of the People" - a blithering idiot rants:

Who wants to be

a Democrat?

Christina L.Vaught's Feb. 18 letter headlined ``Democrats looking for a few good men,'' in which she invites Republicans to leave their party and join her in the Democratic Party, was a joke. Why would anyone leave the conservative Republican Party that has pulled us out of the Clinton recession, and has us down to a 5.4 percent unemployment rate, to join the liberal/Marxist Democratic Party that supports a socialist-style economy like Fidel Castro's Cuba, supports gay marriage and the homosexual lifestyle and refuses to upgrade and stabilize a Social Security system that is now bankrupt?

The economy is stable and booming for those of us who really want to work, and go for the good life.

God bless George W. Bush.

Samuel T. Adams

Kent

5. The fact that the unemployment went UP TO 5.4 under Bush?
remember the good old days of 1999 when companies were in a bidding war for employees, not the other way around?

8. Friends, this is a perfect example of what we are up against
Mr. Adams is completely brainwashed. We can point at him and laugh at his lack of any grip on reality all we want, but he and many other US citizens like him have bought into the Bush lies so deeply that they no longer have any idea of what truth is even supposed to be.

Mr. Adams is absolutely convinced that the Clinton years were a time of misery for America-he believes, I'm sure that everyone was unemployed, that the economy was non-existent, that the entire Clinton administration was under instruction from Joseph Stalin, and of course that Hillary Clinton is a space alien/demon sent to destroy the Earth by converting all women into lesbian suicide bombers. That these things have been disproved so many times is of no concern whatsoever, because Mr. Adams truly wants to believe them; in believing them he becomes heroic because his views are opposing Evil. He could never accept the reality of what is actually going on in the world, because not only would he then be wrong, but a fool and a little man.

There's too many Mr. Adams in the world today. We have an uphill battle to wake them up. We may not be able to wake them at all, in which case we'll have no choice but to stand aside and let them ruin everything like they are determined to do.

In the meantime, we can still point at Mr. Adams and laugh at him.

After all, the guy is writing under the name Sam Adams. O'Reilley got punk'd on the air once, why not the Akron Beacon-Journal?
