Getting my news from the internets:

Mysterious Unseen Attack On The President Maybe Happened

Hannity & Colmes opened with a Fox News Alert tonight reporting that there may have been an attack on President Bush while he was giving a speech in Georgia today but nobody noticed it at the time. Laurie Dhue told expectant viewers that someone threw a device into the crowd which Georgian police quickly confiscated. The Secret Service had no idea that the incident happened at the time and only heard about it through a phone call to Air Force One after leaving the Country. The device may have been like a grenade but no one has seen it to verify this claim.

Comments: Let's get this straight. The speech wasn't disturbed, Secret Service saw nothing and the device thrown has disappeared. What a relief that we were all alerted by Fox News.

Bush Assassination Attempt in Russia Today
C. L. Cook
PEJ.org News
May 10th, 2005

The briefest of facts came across the wire moments ago (ABC Seattle 5:30 News) in an eerily casual tone. Reported so far, while Bush was at a public event in Georgia. During his address a "device" landed within a hundred feet of the podium. Security is now saying the "device" is being described as a "grenade."

The "device" did not explode. Secret Service says they were not informed of the attempt,
if that is what it was, until after they'd left the country.

1. Well the Bush Admin
would try to squelch the story. It shows he's not as popular there as they've been trying to make out.

I mean really...Bush dancing because he feels so welcome?

3. That's the truth--the man is an extreme coward
I knew some of his bodygaurds here in Austin while he was governor (the DPS handles his security), and it was a common joke that he was terrified of everything. We saw that on 9-11, when he fled in terror, made up a lie to cover his actions, and then later in an interview admitted his first thought was "self-preservation." Not his children, not his wife, not his country--himself.

I´m glad the thing didn't actually explode. But on the other hand I hope he will finally learn that he is everything but welcome in big parts of the world, no matter what our ass-kissing governments may tell him! Although he´ll probably think this was the only anti-Bush supporter in the whole wide world. If they even tell him what happened...
