The Pig Dressed in His Finest Fine (MO GOP crooks)
According to the Missouri Office of Administration’s Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, Governor Blunt plans to spend about 1.8 million to renovate his mansion. How many houses could you buy with that? Recall recently how the Governor needed to kick the poor and disabled off of Medicaid in order to save money. Maybe Blunt hasn’t been asking himself, “What would Jesus do” lately.

Joplin MO Representative Steve Hunter recently accepted $971.35 in gifts from lobbyists in the month of May according to the Missouri Ethics Commission. As a result of the Medicaid cuts, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a single parent with two children can not make more than $292 a month or she would lose her Medicaid health insurance.

Representative Hunter’s received “meals, food, and beverage” with Lobbyist Steve Jackson on May 4 2005 in the amount of $331.29. Now that is a hearty dinner! How much would you be willing to bet the single mother who will lose her Medicaid (for making less than Rep. Hunter ate in one day) with will pay for her dinner? Enjoy it Representative Hunter, I don’t know if I could.

*The thread title is a quote from a song by Dave Matthews.

1. 1.8 million
That's chump change compared to my state ... Ohio. We're trying to find approx $225 million that our governor and mates don't know where it went missing ... he wasn't informed. Perhaps these funds went off-shore where it's very hard to find anything or anyone. No wonder that this idiot Taft is rated 50th in the ranking of state governors. I lived in NJ for many years and endured the "corruption" jokes. I've been living in Ohio for almost five years and this state ranks "most corrupt after Florida".

6. Missouri stepped into the Dark Ages by electing Blunt
His priorities are all in the wrong places. He's evidently just another poor little rich boy that's never been denied anything in his life. Thank goodness, I can say that my vote did not help him get elected....

7. Well, in Kentucky after generations of Dems,we now have Erni
Fletcher. You might remember him; he is the ex-fighter pilot who almost got shot doing by flying too near the WH on inauguration trip. Or maybe you read today how three of his lts. got nailed by the grand jury. He is exceedingly unpopular. Has to be near the bottom someplace.
