As best I can tell, the intelligent design argument holds that God created everything and somehow decided, in the process, female praying mantises should chomp the heads from their mates as soon as they have done the deed for reasons that, to me, would suggest sooner or later the boys are going to get the message and then ...

No more praying mantises!

I don't mind buying a good dinner before mating, which is a part of our treasured food-and-movie-in-exchange-for-sex cultural history, but I don't want to be dinner afterward. That's how I would view it as a male praying mantis.

What's so intelligent about our design? :shrug:

Instead of us walking with the wide side facing we would walk with the narrow side, that way we would not suffer so much from cold and be a smaller target for target practice...and the eyes would be forward and backward...anyway...how intelligent is the design of people?? Think if it was truly intelligent..we would not be as we are...?? DUH! :giggle: What not giggle smilie??

If this is the best the omnipotent could come up with..I think HIS designer was flawed, as was the designers, designers, designers......and infinitum :evilgrin:
