Washington's Other Famous Son In Hot Seat
http://www.swtimes.com/archive/2003/October/05/business/Brown.html

When Michael Powell became the head of the Federal Communications Commission nearly six years ago, he faced criticism similar to that received by President George W. Bush.

Both men, before they reached their present posts as FCC chairman and the 43rd president of the
United States, often had to deal with whispers that they rose to the top only because of their famous fathers.

President George Walker Bush, of course, a former Texas governor, oilman and professional
baseball team owner, is the son of the 41st president, George Herbert Walker Bush.

<snip>

Unbeknownst to many outside Washington, Michael Powell is the son of Persian Gulf war hero
and Secretary of State Colin Powell.

...more...

Please tell me that this is not news! Please tell me that Unbeknownst to many outside Washington, Michael Powell is the son of Persian Gulf war hero
and Secretary of State Colin Powell.
is a false statement.

If this is news to Fort Smith, Arkansas, what the f*** else do they not know????

2. This bunch clearly don't know the meaning
of the word "nepotism" and even if they did they probably don't care.
