I must say I lost track of Bob Beckel. I always loved him on Crossfire. The intro mentions RW attacks against him for things in his personal life. Can anyone tell me what they were?

Maybe it's none of my business...

...he had a "liaison" with a young woman not his wife. He was stupid enough to do it in his home when his family was gone. The young “entrepreneur” he had engaged then proceeded to blackmail him, and as I recall, he paid. When it got too much he called in the police. The resulting investigation and arrests made the press and that was the last I heard of Beckel until this post.

I understand it happens and I don’t condone it; but I think you deserve everything you get if you crucify others for what you do yourself do in secret; i.e., Gingrich, Livingston, Hyde, Dole, G.H. Bush, Neil Bush, Dan Burton, Strom “The Sperminator” Thurmond, David Schippers, etc. I don't recall Beckel being of two faces on this issue.
