Graham's truth scares GOP

"Sen. Bob Graham is speaking the truth. Graham is holding President Bush accountable for the actions of this administration, and it's paying off on the campaign trail.

Graham is honestly and openly questioning President Bush's ill-conceived policies and the secrecy around those policies. That makes some Republicans very uncomfortable. Republicans know that Graham will carry Florida, and he won't need the U.S. Supreme Court to do it for him.

Rich Bond's column in the Sentinel on Wednesday was a shining example of how scared the Republicans really are. Bond, the former chairman of the Republican National Committee, felt the bizarre need to go on the attack against Graham, claiming that Graham -- of all things -- was being "political." Having the former head of a political party attack a presidential candidate for being political is just plain silly..."
