What Is Wrong With Joe Lieberman?
"Either Senator Lieberman is so divorced from reality that he's completely lost the plot or he knows he's spinning a line."

1. Remember Kevin Bacon's character in Animal House?
at the big parade finale.

Panic, hysteria, chaos all around, and he is screaming:

"ALL IS WELL! REMAIN CALM! ALL IS WELL!!"

It's just like that, IMO.

7. I remember that very well....

...and I've often thought of that line when it comes to neocon spinning and propagandizing.

Just like the line, "ALL IS WELL!! REMAIN CALM!! ALL IS WELL!!" these thugs will look you square in the face and tell you everything is flowery and beautiful--as chaos and violence erupts. Rumsfeld's speech about "so much care" used in bombing during 'shock and awe' is a fine example of those tactics.

Thanks for reminding me of that line--yet again. It fits so perfectly with these bozo criminals.

Now....may I have 10,000 marbles please?

5. He is in the wrong party, that is all. I wish the Dems would throw him out
but of course we have that "big tent" thingy. I think the DINO's like him could cause that "big tent" to come crashing down and mortally wound us all. They sure have been weakening the tent---putting holes in it, so to speak, and causing a lot of damage to the party and any hopes for a strong run against the Repugs.

Joe, join your soul mates in the Repuke Party, PLEASE!!!

8. Ever been to Conneticutt?
It's tough to be a Democrat there - I don't see that he has ANY alternative but to play "centrist" if he wants to have good results next year...

10. We lived in CT 'til '96 and still remember that he was always
pushing for deregulation of all industry issues and tax breaks for the corporations, etc. He's a corporate whore plain and simple.

13. That is more an excuse for Dodd than Lieberman.

Lieberman consistantly goes above and beyond the call of rich moderates in Connecticut. He doesnt have to be a neo-con hawk to win in CT. He doesnt have to be a full on conservative to win in CT.
