A bummer of a summer for the President
Dear George,

How’s your summer going? Not so good? First it was the tumble off the Segway scooter and now your poll ratings are dropping and everyone is starting to use the word “lied” in the same sentence with your name. It's not like I didn't warn you back in February. Well, I'm sure you can find some more fall guys like George Tenet.

Those 16 words everyone is making a big stink about: “The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa.” It is kind of funny. “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky,” is only 11 words. On the other hand, perhaps you're not the right person to appreciate the irony.

5. But there is still that August vacation to get away from the hustle and
bustle of the everyday world. By the time the vacation is over, Carl will have rolled out a new product to market and all will be forgotten, or at least they hope.
