Where's Hillary on Iraq?
Jimmy Breslin
Beautiful. I am in receipt today of a mailing from the Hillary Rodham Clinton campaign. This is different from the letter she sent out by e-mail in a rush. I don't know who got the e-mail. She announces it is 1,600 words long. That much of her sentences could end reading. The letter I got is more than a dead dry political mailing. I found it such compelling reading that I drop everything and share with you promptly and thus prominently.

It is a four-page questionnaire with the headline, "2005 Critical National Issues Survey." I thought that this was about the more than 2,000 dead in Iraq. Not even close. I read on, thinking that the pamphlet might tell me what Hillary stands for, as she is pretty much a blank thus far. The questionnaire begins with a statement that we can't let Republican political attacks distract Hillary from her efforts in the Senate to address the critical issues our nation needs to address. Then there is the normal space for contributions by check or credit card. The amounts are from $25 to $100 and "other." Fine so far.

(snip)
Hillary Clinton is in favor of the war and of executions. Sensational! The other day, when Rep. John Murtha of Johnstown, Pa., called for a withdrawal from Iraq, and obviously did so with half the Pentagon behind him, Hillary said, no, we shouldn't pull out at this time. Oh, it would cause so much violence.

We must stay. It takes a national Alzheimer's for her to be able to try to get away with things like this. If Hillary Clinton wants this war to go on, then she should send her daughter to fight in Iraq. We have had in New York as United States senators, Robert F. Kennedy, Jacob Javits and Daniel Moynihan. We now have Hillary Clinton blowing on her fingers as she goes about cracking the combination to another safe. If the one hand glistens, it is from the wedding ring that she has used to hypnotize the public so far. Beautiful.

1. Who cares what that lezbo thinks
She's an idiot. If throwing babies out of moving cars had 89% of the publics approval. She'd be for it. She has no spine and is a complete loser.

To bad the dems can't muster up a single human being better than the laser eyed cold blooded bitch.

2. What ever her sexual preference, should have no bearing on this debate
It is by her inaction and lack of Representation that her legacy as an ex-Congresswoman will be defined. We can do better thatn stoop to name calling and RW like attacks.

7. We should not tolerate the use of words like "gay"
and "lesbian" as terms of abuse.

Or would that risk losing too many votes from the "centre"?

Although not a fan of Hillary, I'm compelled to asked, how do you know that HC is a lesbian. From all objective observation, the woman is in love with her husband. I don't mind people criticizing Hillary for her politics, for god knows there is much there to criticize. But I find it offensive when people use rumors and innuendos to demean her or anyone else. At, DU, we're better here, I hope.

4. Bill is alleged to have said so ...
Edited on Thu Dec-01-05 10:59 AM by HamdenRice
Playboy magazine once ran a story about Jennifer Flowers, Bill's long time mistress in Arkansas. (Despite its reputation for *ahem* pictures, Playboy was well respected for its editorial content.)

So in this interview, Jennifer was explaining that she used to have long intimate conversations with Bill. Jennifer told the interviewer that once she and Bill were talking about oral sex, which apparently they did and Bill enjoyed giving. (I hope I'm not going too much in the gutter here, but you asked.)

Jennifer asked Bill if he is ever *ahem* "giving" toward Hillary. Bill reportedly said, "Honey, she eats more ***** that I do!"

You could look it up.

Now why is this relevant? Because it means that their entire relationship is a lie, and they are basically hypocrites, staying together soley for their political careers.

8. And we believe Jennifer Flowers is a beacon of truth?
Of course, she could be. Guys who cheat on their wives (as I have done) don't tell the person they're cheating with that their wives are wonderful. They make up stuff to justify the cheating and soothe the conscience (if there be one) of the cheatee. Bill may well have said exactly that, but that doesn't make it true.

Nobody knows what the real scoop is inside the Billary relationship. I'm not so sure I'd want to.

As others on this thread have said, it's her gutless politics that make her no one I would ever consider voting for, not her (speculative) sex life.

6. exactly
calling her a sellout to the DLC (repub Lite) is one thing, calling her a lesbian is quite another (but maybe that is just because I find her a little hot- you know, the power thing) :)

5. "Where's Hillary on Iraq?"
She's way behind, back in the pack. Better say something new, if she's running for any other reason than exercise....
