I’ve always felt impeachment is the nuclear option of politics; a drastic action we call in after all else fails. That’s why I’ve been reluctant to call for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.
No longer. The reckless, arrogant actions of the man leave me with no choice but to consider that final solution.
Time to impeach the son of a bitch.
I don’t come to this conclusion lightly. Impeachment is a divisive process that all too often tears the country apart. Only two Presidents have actually been brought to trial before Congress under the impeachment process: Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Both were impeached more for political dislike than actual crimes against the Constitution...

Bush pushes his agenda - not ours
http://toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060102/OPINION03/601010332Ellen Goodman made an excellent case in her Dec. 26 column when she asked, "Who owns Sept. 11?" Obviously the Bush people think they do; even the headline on her column noted: "Bush forgets that 9/11 belongs to us all."
President George W. Bush saw 9/11 differently than the rest of us. Instead of a war against the terrorists who attacked us, we have an endless war in Iraq, pretending we are winning against terrorism there.
We do not have Osama bin Laden in custody; we have Saddam Hussein, the man who wanted President Bush's father killed.
