57% Americans favor military action in Iran:

Despite persistent disillusionment with the war in Iraq, a majority of Americans supports taking military action against Iran if that country continues to produce material that can be used to develop nuclear weapons, a Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll has found.

2. Don't worry. That poll is junk
The question phrasing is worthless.

Just let it in one ear and out the other.

4. Is Iran worthy of starting a draft? They should have included
that question. I predict the results would be vastly different.

9. This poll should not be taken unless it talks about a draft.
We do not have the man power for another war. Period. The national discussion that should have taken place before the Iraq war, really needs to be happening now.

If the public is committed enough to such an action they should be willing to go to war, or send their children or grandchildred to war. If not, than we have no business pursuing another war. If this one is more dire than the last - than take that up to the folks who sent us into that one - and deal with the real costs to our military as a consequence.

10. The poll may not be entirely accurate ...
... but there is no doubt that the Bush regime is doing everything it can to demonize Iran so that it can find some way to justify another illegal war.

13. Just remember
We invented nukes, and used them. Who are we to prevent Iran from having nukes?

14. Yes. We used nukes against a population center
Many Americans abhor that part of their legacy. Our actions has a great deal to do with why we don't trust other governments not to use nukes on us.
