Dubai firm running ports no big deal
Had to post this by my favorite columnist. Enjoy.

Frank Cerabino
The Post columnist offers his take on South Fla. living, news, events and more.

"I don't know what the fuss is about.

Sure, the Miami seaport may soon be run by a company controlled by an Arab country.

But there are a lot of swell Arab countries out there.

And the United Arab Emirates is one we count as a real friend, an ally in the fight against global terrorism."

1. "Swell"?
Gosh Wally. Those Arab countries seem spooky to me.

Gee, Beav' - don't be such a dope. Those Arab countries are swell.

2. We will fight the terrorist here so we don't have to fight them over there.
That sounds like the new bu$h theme with this port deal

8. "Let's fight terrorism in Miami so we don't have to fight it in Boca Raton
This is a great editorial! Pretty much lays out everything in black in white, with a thick coat of sarcasm.

6. Yes, I guess they didn't.
:-) I posted the first few tiny paragraphs hoping to get folks charged up to read the article - didn't work. Anyway, Frank IS my favorite writer. He always brings a smile to my face.

10. His editorials are always worth
reading. He usually hits the nail on the head regarding politics. Many of his editorials are about local issues. He did an extremely good series of non-editorial articles regarding the 2000 elections in Palm Beach County.
