A tid bit about Neal Boortz

Just the other week, my local hectoring fascist talk radio blowhard, Neal Boortz—who’s nationally syndicated--called Congresswomen Cynthia McKinney a “ghetto whore”. Yes the altercation between McKinney and the security guard is old news, and the idiot Boortz apologized—or so I read. So I was wondering how Boortz was handling all the buzz about his “controversial” commentary.

Apparently racist remarks toward a black congresswoman are good thing in the talk radio bizz—it actually spawns more bigoted rhetoric. Here’s a snip from the idiot’s web page: As you can see our moron, Boortz, is injecting a little satire into his wild eyed racist frenzy.

Reports are starting to surface that white cops have been seen giving traffic tickets to black motorists on Atlanta's Cynthia McKinney Parkway. These cops are clearly racist brutes who are obviously profiling black drivers. They're intentionally focusing on this particular street because it is named for Georgia Democrat Cynthia McKinney. Something just has to be done about these racist cops on the Atlanta police force. Before you know it they will be pulling black motorists out of their cars and clubbing them.

Of course he’s not a racist, hell, he has him a bona fide black man right there in the studio with him pushing buttons and so forth—so how could the “talk master” be a damn racist? Never mind the fact the Boortz once wrote speeches for Govoner Lester Maddox. If you’ve never heard of Maddox it’s worth the researching—a true Southern gem. He was the governor of Georgia from 67-71—and a fiery-eyed segregationist was he. This good old boy was a former restaurateur who would threaten blacks away from his vile establishment with an axe handle and often campaigned with one. Boortz, naturally was a shoe in as a speechwriter for the old bastard.

I lived in Georgia during Maddox's era. He was a foul piece of work.

Scoring points with the right wing by bashing women, blacks, and other minorities is what they do.

They call anyone other than themselves who discusses race, racist.

That's why I prefer to call it white supremacy, or discrimination, rather than calling it racism, which I find to be too broad, and too easy a term for them to turn around.

Presenting legitimate grievances isn't the same thing as gratuitous bashing of some group you're presenting as inferior.
